There’s a Monster in My House

Monster Settles In
At the weekend we had a new member join our household. We woke up to find a monster in our home! As with all new animals brought into a strange environment his initial reaction was to bare his teeth and back into a corner. After a lot of soothing talk and offers of food and other treats we were able to coax him out to get used to his new surroundings.
As soon as our backs were turned he was up on the sofa and making himself comfortable. He does look rather spectacular lying on the couch with his white flecked cream coat of scales while basking in the sun during the mornings. If you quietly sneak up on him you can often catch him with a big grin on his face.
The Monster Skin Rug is a concept first aired by Longoland which we thought looked pretty cool, however at $1,500 we thought it a little excessive even for our lavish tastes. Without a second thought our good friend Jules rose to the challenge to offered to create an inspired work for us. With a lot of work and hours of patience the monster grew to become an equal to the original. With over 2,300 scales hand cut and sewn we were amazed at how perfect the monster was.
We will cherish our monster and smother it with our love and attention for a long time to come. Thank you Jules we love you
