Emergency Surgery

Example of a Jade Plant
In a short break from my 4-part blog discussing my role as a site-based Civil Engineer I have decided to tell you about a minor emergency I had last night. Now I’m not one to profess to being all green fingered but I do have the responsibility of owning a Jade plant (or money tree, Crassula ovata). I was informed that the poor thing had been involved in an accident, snapped almost in two, and lay wilting on it’s pot. Siezing the oppotunity to be a hero I lept into action to save it’s life! Okay so I argued a little first about the best methods to save it and the lateness of the hour, who wouldn’t.
Oh, just me then.
