GigaPan Imager
Just a quick post to add to my slowly expanding set of GigaPans.
I intend to give you a more in depth account of my more significant and/or interesting GigaPans. However from time-to-time I will give you a quick look at other panoramas that I have taken. You can always check out the GigaPan website to keep up-to-date with the latest creations.

Gigapan Preview
The
GigaPan website has been created to enable people and communities to come together through images that have so much detail that they themselves are the objects of exploration. Create yourself an account and you can upload images, over 50 MegaPixels, of your own. The real aim is to create
massive images, with the robotic mount now available for a range of cameras you can take
1000′s of images and combine them to produce panoramas of a
GigaPixel (1000 MegaPixels) and more. Since I purchased the original robotic mount at the start of the year I’ve slowly got used to the new style of photography and some of the quirks of stitching the large number of images into one panorama.

Lego Painting by Jules
Less than a month ago we took a stand against our boring beige walls and bought our first piece of art. This immediately brightened our home and inspired us to expand our collection as soon as we had the time to look around for more.
Without a second thought our good friend Jules asked us if we wanted her to paint us a picture of our choice. Of course we wanted a painting by Jules after she made us our wonderful Monster Rug. After throwing a few ideas around we soon decided on a Lego theme. We did have a slight problem, our Lego collection is all Star Wars related and all the bricks in our home are varying shades of grey.
Jules came to the rescue and provided a few suggestions and we soon commissioned our second piece of art. Within a couple of weeks we had the pleasure of Jules visiting our humble abode and the joy of hanging a superb and vibrant piece that makes our home just that little more enjoyable.

Pizza Toast, Scrumptious
We have an unwritten rule in our house. If I work hard at the washing chores, Wedge is usually happy to cook me lavish meals each night. I like this little arrangement even if I do whine about it day-in-day-out (sorry Wedge). However there is a time when Wedge has other plans and I’m left to fend for myself.
In these desperate times I tend to fall back on my student days and keep things basic. I have mastered a range of healthy(ish), nutritious foods that include cheese-on-toast, toasted cheese, cheese toasties, cheese sandwich and many more…
Wednesday was one of these rare nights and I think I pushed my culinary skills to the limits when I made myself pizza toast. It was a clever combination of bread, cheese, tomato purée and a little turkey ham (it’s not Turkey and it’s not Ham…).
It was simple. Lightly toast the bread and then mix and match the tomato purée, cheese and turkey ham in combinations and quantities of your choice. Grill this masterpiece until the cheese has melted and serve immediately. You can add a little garnish of salt, pepper and sauces to suit your tastes.
It was yummie but I do prefer the well balanced diet that Wedge provides me.
